Right..I introduced this concept earlier.
The mime who works 5ta, north of the park…’draws a crowd, one way or the other…today, the usual size, the usual antics, indicating that the weekend was back to normal(or what passes for such).
Christ…’never seen such large flocks of christians…packs of eight to twelve, marching in formation. Keith, doing bar duty at Ocelot, said that 19 were housed in his place..I swear I’ve seen 100+…the Mormons have disappeared, perhaps embarrassed to be in such small numbers…Ocelot? live music, for the first time…too loud…acoustic won’t ruffle the neighbors. A Greg Allman wannabe but I liked the dwarf on the piccolo…the sax player outside of Sobremesa? smooth, cool, playing a tarnished alto sax and filling up the joint…which ain’t hard, considering the size of the space…10+ people and Alex’ is maxed out…ice cream, Alex…ice cream/designer ice-fucking cream. and…no or little rain…except at 10, walking home in a slight San Francisco-kinda drizzle…almost fog-like…not me, the rain…. ..’stopped by Reilly’s to double check Henrik’s assertion that on Sunday night the ladies of the night check in at 10:30…doors closed so I can’t verify jack-shit…no news, to some of us…assuming no major conflagrations on Tuesday night, I’ll toddle up the street and check out the reincarnated Indian joint…film at 11…I love Sundays in the park..marimba music, kids running around, having fun..what saint’s day was this? my street was hung with yellow/white flags, a procession followed by a decent brass band and the $#@! mortars kept firing until waaay later(extra shells, gentlemen?) ah…the late night MovieStar internet connection sucketh…hasta la pasta and buenos nostrils to all.
