as previously suggested, El Muro with their new poker table in back ought to use this as a t-shirt slogan, but no…’haven’t been back in a week or so…away in monterico, et cetera…there’s a council meeting at the Convento Capuchino today that any bar/restaurant owners should sit in on…assuming they’re interesting in finding out what the new changes may or may not be…of the 39 owners who’ve applied for extensions…if you have half a brain, show up…i’m told that the bar&restaurant association in antigua consists of 12 members but Antiguanet.net says 17…speaking of that local paper, pick up an issue while they’re still available…they give a very good perspective and words from DaMayor that he’s willing to talk…think about it…if you’re creating a public nuisance by allowing people to drink in the streets, and/or make a lot of noise a la 5ta norte or the vicinity of La Sala…even the Rainbow Room gets a bit noisy sometimes…your neighbors are gonna complain(I would) ergo…in latin, that means if you’re a local problem, you’ll get papered…and shut down…forget Sangre..they’re so ^$#@! dead, they’d like the publicity…if i were Reilly’s, Studio 35, maybe Gaia…La Sala, Mito’s…?Riki’s/El Cielo? if you’re noisy and the street is where your patrons are sucking down brewski’s…hello!..Matteo of Cashbar keeps a lid on things but the ‘all you can swill for 50q’ nights at Studio 35 might be contributing to the scene… don’t say you didn’t know this…go to the Convento Capuchino today and find out WTF is going down…your attorneys won’t be of help once the axe falls, btw…and it’ll just cost you $$ in legal fees…if your license that says 1pm or …roll it up and smoke it…changes are here, get over it..
