from what i saw at La Esquina, the salsa girls were cooking…i didn’t want to burst my stitches, so i left…el muro…closed at 6pm? Nelson and Karla, playing at Caffe Bourbon…’never seen her so happy…gotta love ‘love’…the Mime index? crowds at 6, down the street from the kanji dude…folks lined up for their name in script…maybe it just means ‘miso soup’ but it’ll look good on the wall…hector’s jammed, same three canadian girls at the bar…its a full moon and Reilly’s is packed, couples smooching on the streets and i coulda gone by Zaika for a ‘final final’…but…back in the hangar or bat cave, take your choice…tomorrow the opening of Angies place on 1st Ave sur, 11a at 6pm, close to Cafe no Se….saw ‘piano mike’ walking by la merced earlier and forgot to ask him about he and his daughter’s debut..this town is suddenly becoming a musical oasis…even Red’s has a band tonight…Sangre back to its usual quiet self…
we all have our own version of faith/belief….i believe i’ll have another drink..if faith calls, well…that’s another matter.
