there’s a buncha Peruvians in town…some kinda horse thing..’pasos’ but they all have damned fine sombreros..as good as Montecristi in Santa Fe,where i have mine made and probably a helluva lot cheaper..the hat store in Lima charges about $25 or so..Milt,in Santa Fe, marks ’em up to about a thou.or so…cheaper than airfare,so go ahead on it..’seen a few for $10000, some for $30000 and once, a $100K chapeau..’had a chat with a superb Peruviana/senorita who’s family originally came from Leon in Nicaragua…dating from the conquistador times…ooh, deliciosa..! a new biz on 5ta norte…photos/costumes/antique oldsmobile and a organ without a monkey..
