thanks to David H for the info about the reincarnation of Riki’s/El Cielo and El Rincon de los Locos…4th calle, poniente, across from Burger King…20q entrance fee and it rocks from 1am til 4m…the only time I’m up at 4am is to make another call to the bathroom..a deposit, ok? known as La Casa Nostra and nope..havent been there.
new bartender at Ocelot tonight…she’ll be fine..and looks fine, also…Reid/crew, on the patio, laughter, jokes…’no’ on the Land Rover, I’m thinking…HillBilly Tom isn’t going with the program: too much trouble, the 800 lb sow in the pen and…he says he’s got a couple of other trucks that ‘run’….uh…sorta…can you say ‘shakedown cruise?’….after watching HBT smack the hood latch of the Cougar with a hammer a dozen times this week, ‘shakedown cruise’ is probably better suited to the environs of Antigua, where there’s bus service and tuk-tuks, when it goes bad. (and it will)
so? the Hue Hue run? scheduled for 8am Friday, +/-….cha cha…Mike D, Roberto de Oro, Norm and moi…got the $$, the camera and a few rounds of spare ammo..and no, as usual, I don’t have a clue, never having been to Hue Hue…we’ve got maps, a metal detector, hammers, a compass(to find our ass with) and a sense of the absurd. The feeling of futility can wait until later…we may stay over thru Sunday, if the jail is full. Science marches on…field trip!
