I think that the long holiday weekend is over: the crowds on 5th Avenida have left and the traffic out of town was bummer to bummer..Andy, our mime, doing his usual great show, with torches.
and some fabulous New Year’s Eve events, of which Frank’s Place took first place, for music and the views.
Since I live on the extreme northern edge of Antigua, I got the San Felipe/Joco fireworks showw…extreme blasts, that went on for an hour..
Happy Birthday to Mike D, under the weather with a cold..Nyquil and screwdrivers was my advise…HBT, on the river at Guaranja, for New Years and it was hard, I heard…water, electricity, not well and the usual gunfire in that village.
yes! another pizza place, just what Antigua needs..7a, in what was El Shaman, 7th ave sur..I don’t get it, as usual, why..Antigua has more pizza places than anywhere, per capita.Ponzi Bob and wife incoming this week. I haven’t met her and she doesn’t like it here, I’ve been told.
So…the new year is here, Sunday is history and the moon is full tonight. Last night was hard for many folks (not sleeping), me included…if the hair starts growing on my hands, that’s why…and why on my head? I could use some there…Comalapa? forget it..
