for several years and then found out that she is/was like any other woman.,.so, in what was the Las Cebollinas space (6th ave/5th calle) is a branch/offshoot of the New Age store El Museo…incense, candles, do-it-yourself reincarnation kits.
I’ve given up reading La Prensa, expecting something other than the fulminating editorials about how rotten this country is. I used to think that 25% or so of the US Congress was corrupt but now I’m coming around to the conclusion that politics here is 90% corrupt…gimme El Diario, with the bikini photos instead.
does it seem like there’s more language students this year? why does the City have their workers digging out the grass between the cobblestones? let it grow, it adds color and with some rain(remember rain?) the City could be a giant Chia Pet..
HBT/daughter in town last week (I missed ’em) and I’ve heard that he now has a sat dish in the village, taking care of any cultural needs…there’s a new high end ‘head shop’ in the Nido Antigua mall..and more vacancies…does anyone patronize the new Wendy’s? I never see any wrappers or such. And furthermore, I ‘get it’ that firecrackers are a tradition here but what’s up with the mortars? primitive cloud-seeding attempts or contact with the spirits, like the kites of Sumpango? alright, I’ll go to my room now…have the best week that you can..
