I couldn’t do the planting of ashes today nor much of the later rounds of the watering holes….’paid my respects to the passing of Michael Banfield, as best I could…altho, very depressed…he was a gentleman, a sweet person and a joy to know. My last memory of him was the day that Chambray II went down and he was gathering supplies to take to them.
I came home early to do the hindu version of ‘puja’…candles, incense and prayers for his safe ascension to the next plane of existence. …he was a nice and a gentle person as anyone could ask for and his prescence, to me, is very much missed…vaya con dios,Miguel…
and yes, there’s another trip in the works….details to follow, once I’m over this ‘bump in my road.’
